Insurance Benefits

Workers' Compensation

Because we have been a trusted resource to the Restaurant Business in NY since 1935, NYSRA knows exactly what you are up against when it comes to choosing a Workers' Compensation insurance program. The New York State Restaurant Services Worker's Compensation Program, underwritten by the State Insurance Fund, has paid our members a dividend for the past 24 years in a row - the latest 40% (view 5 year tracking).

Disability Insurance Program

The NY Disability Benefits Law (DBL), enacted in 1950, requires employers to provide their employees in New York State with short-term disability benefits to replace, in part, wages lost when disabled by an off-the-job injury or illness (on-the-job injury is provided by workers' comp). The NYSRA Disability Insurance Plan offers you the assurance of dealing with strong, Triple-A rated carrier, Zurich Insurance Company, at coverage rates that are extremely affordable (and are the same rates for male and female employees!). Life Insurance

The New York State Restaurant Association recognizes the importance of a secure future for you and your employees. That is why we offer our members this supplimental life insurance plan with low ratesmade possible by the sizer of our membership. Flexible, easy and affordable, this policy provides you with exemplary coverage, and it is an excellent plan to offer to your employees! Health Insurance

The New York State Restaurant Association has a cafeteria of plans to offer which may include prescription coverage, students to 23 years of age, etc. We offer various plans including an HMO or PPO plan, depending on what is available in your area and what type of coverage would be best for you. We have a program ANYWHERE in New York State and in some areas there is more than one type available. Dental Insurance
